Articulating Crane Truck 6500 Series
The HFC-6500 Series of articulating crane trucks are designed for propane businesses that need that extra reach or added hauling and lifting capacity. With a reach as far as 31' 6" and maximum load ratings up to 10,900 pounds the HFC-6500 series articulating crane truck can help expand your business to new levels. Capable of lifting and handling the newer 1450's and 1990 gallon tanks that are becoming more and more prevalent in many markets.

Starting off on a 26,000 GVWR chassis such as the Ford-F650, Jomac constructs an aluminum service body and cabinets built to your specifications. All truck decks are manufactured using 3" channel crossmembers welded on 8" centers, each crossmember fully gusseted for strength and durability. Then, the deck is constructed of 3/16" aluminum diamond plate or if you choose, 1" bar grate. Anodized D-rings are fastened to the deck, optimally located for the securing of your payload. Cabinets are constructed of 1/8" aluminum sheet, reinforced for rigidity, and matching stainless steel lock latches are installed for security and weather resistance. Again with quality in mind, cabinets are also fitted with stainless steel hinges, stainless spring door checks, automotive type rubber ball seals and vinyl edge protectors.

Cabinets may be configured in basically any configuration according to your specifications, or you may choose to have the truck constructed as a flatbed like the one shown above if desired.

We then finish the service body out with Betts two wire lighting (meets FMVSS108), flip type placard holders, heavy duty, bar reinforced mud and splash guards, stainless steel folding step, two tool carriers and one shelf in midship cabinet with adjustable, heavy duty standards. Of course, if you'd like more options, we have those too.

Articulating cranes are manufactured in house by Jomac, with performance and function in mind. The HFC-6500 Series of articulating cranes utilize a 65,500 ft. lb. hydraulic crane, PTO driven off the truck, allowing for a 100% duty cycle. Absolutely no electrically driven pumps on our units! Maximum reach from centerline ranges from 17' for the 6517 up to 31.5' for the 6531. This combination allows sufficient capacity (2,175 lbs. at 26'3" reach) for lifting a 1000 gallon tank at full horizontal extension on all models up through the HFC-6526. The HFC-6531 Articulating Crane offers the same features as the other 6500 Series Cranes, but has an additional manual extension of 63", making total reach on this model 31-1/2 feet. The HFC-6531 can lift 1500 lbs. at it's full extension. Cranes may be mounted behind cab or at rear of truck, corner or center mount.
